CANCER SUPPORT: Nepean / Blue Mountains Prostate Cancer Support Group meets from 6.30pm on Monday, October 17 in the Auditorium, Level 3, West Block, Nepean Public Hospital. This will be the annual general meeting when there will be receipt of business papers followed by the election of officers. All meetings are available to males and their partners seeking information on this cancer, and who live in the Blacktown, Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury and Penrith areas. DANCE CLASS: At the Lodge of Eternal Light, 1 Garfield Road West, Riverstone, 2pm-3pm, on Saturdays. Cost is $5. Meetings are held 3.30pm-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays with free psychic readings with a different medium each week and tea/coffee for a freewill offering. HELP AT HAND: Grow Groups are small friendly groups formed to learn how to overcome anxiety, depression, and loneliness and improve mental health. A group meets every Wednesday from 6.30pm at St Patrick’s Parish Centre, 51-59 Allawah Street, Blacktown. Grow is anonymous, free and open to all.  Bring a support person if you like. ART FOR KIDS: Children’s art classes in drawing, watercolours, oil painting, acrylics, folk art, pastels and craft are conducted by Blacktown Art and Crafts Group in the Trevor Toms Pavilion, Blacktown Showground off Kent Street, Blacktown, on Tuesdays 4pm-6pm, Wednesdays 4pm-6pm and 6pm-8pm.
