Prospect Highway Bridge near Seven Hills railway station will be closed for seven nights over the next four weeks.
Roads and Maritime Services said essential maintenance work will be carried out on the Prospect Highway Bridge between Terminus Road and The Hills Crescent, including repairing the bridge joints.
This work is expected to take seven night shifts to complete between Sunday, October 16, and Sunday, November 13, weather permitting.
Work hours will be from 8pm to 5am to minimise the impact on road users.
Lane closures will be in place and may affect travel times. Motorists are asked to plan ahead their journey and follow the direction of traffic controllers and signs.
