A youth on bail was found with a backpack full of stolen goods last week.
The suspect, 18, was spoken to by officers from Quakers Hill Highway Patrol after he continued smoking in the outdoors dining area of a Quakers Hill establishment.
Police searched his backpack and found stolen goods, as well as tools for breaking into houses.
He was arrested, and while he was in custody police received three reports of robbery that matched the goods found in his backpack.
The man was charged with possessing stolen goods, possessing break-in tools, and breach of bail.
He was refused bail and was due to appear at Parramatta local court on June 10.
