In our late pre-season debut, the Super Subs have kicked off. This week we look at the puzzling strategy behind the A-League season launch attempting to go under the radar with the season sneaking up on us.

The week’s big news was the sudden departure of Tony Popovic and the hiring of Hayden Foxe as the Wanderers interim coach. We also cast an eye over the A-League season before a ball has been kicked to give our predictions for season 2017-18.

The boys also chat about the EPL during the week’s break, looking at the highs of Man U and the middles of Liverpool after seven games but the Subs are excited about the close season developing.
