During a visit this week to Chicago high school, Hyde Park Academy, Prince Harry, alongside Michelle Obama, surprised students in more ways than one.
It's not everyday that a prince and a former First Lady show up unannounced during a seminar being held for 20 students.
The students all had the opportunity to discuss the power of young people's voices in making a difference, but it was an answer Prince Harry gave while being quizzed on Chicago's signature delicacies that was one of the biggest (and best) surprises.
"I can safely say from my experience, and all the travelling I've done, all over the world, speaking to people your age - the younger generation is the cure to all of the problems," he told the students.
After a serious discussion, the students from the school on Chicago's South Side, located across from the future site of the Obama Presidential Centre, suggested trying Chicago traditions such as hot dogs and pizza.

After admitting recently he has never eaten a campfire toasted marshmallow, Prince Harry revealed that he rarely consumes another comfort food favourite, pizza.
One student made comments directed at Michelle Obama instructing, "When Prince Harry's here, he eats Chicago, make sure he has a pizza."
In a video posted on Kensington Palace's Instagram, the royal proved he was one step ahead, "I don't even eat pizza anymore, but I had pizza last night."
"We had deep-dish and we had thin crust. I promise you, I will make sure I eat Chicago."

Later that evening, Prince Harry spoke candidly about his late mother, Princess Diana, at the Obama Foundation's inaugural summit, according to People. "I think she had a lot in common with everybody but also she certainly listened," he said.
"In a very, very short space of time she was like a vacuum going around, sucking up all the information, all the criticism, all the issues, all the positives and negatives from everybody, then putting her name and her platform toward the bigger issues that had never been talked about.
"In society we suffer from this illusion, or reality, that some problems become so big that nobody wants to get involved. She was the one that changed that," he said.
Prince Harry did have a palate for a pizza growing up, with Former Buckingham and Kensington Palace chef Darren McGrady telling People magazine in 2015 that as a child the royal, along with Prince William, once swapped their nanny's dinner note, for their own requesting pizza.
While their juvenile handwriting gave their identity away, he "was more scared of the nanny than William," so they ended up with her request, roast chicken.
"They may be royal children, but they still have children's palates," he says.
