Wanted man allegedly found passed out with drugs in stolen car

A man with two outstanding warrants has been arrested after he was allegedly found passed out in a stolen car.

Police responded to reports of a man passed out in a car at petrol station on Prospect Highway, Seven Hills, at 5am on Sunday, November 5.

Upon arrival they searched the car, which was later revealed to be stolen, and found a large amount of stolen property.

Officers also allegedly found methyl-amphetamine and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.

The man, 31, was arrested and taken to Blacktown Hospital under police guard due to being under the influence of an illicit drug.

He was later charged with offences including taking and driving a car without consent, driving under the influence, possessing a prohibited drug, and two outstanding warrants.

He was refused bail to appear at Blacktown Local Court on November 6.
