A Costco supplier has issued a product recall after the discovery of plastic seals inside packets of Japanese-style marinated beef.
Customers reported finding the tamper-proof seals in 1 kilogram frozen packs of Mama Chow beef bulgogi gyoza, which were sold at Costco stores in Victoria, Queensland, News South Wales and the ACT.
The clear white plastic poses a choking hazard and consumers are being warned not to eat the product.
Melbourne supplier Simply Fresh Food Company is recalling packets of Mama Chow with a use-by date of May 12, 2015.
Customers can return the product to Costco for a full refund.
