A teenage girl has been taken to hospital after she was bitten by a dog in Bligh Park today.
Just after 1pm today, police and emergency services were called to a home on Surprise Crescent, Bligh Park, following reports a teenage girl was bitten by a dog.
Police were told a dog inside the house, similar to a Rottweiler, bit the 15-year-old girl several times on the face and torso.
The girl was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Nepean Hospital in a stable condition.
The dog has been secured and police will liaise with local council rangers.
