A sprawling waterfront estate that looks like it's straight out the of pages of The Great Gatsby is on the market for more than $100 million.
The 3.26-hectare estate is located in Kings Point on Long Island, New York, an affluent community thought to be the inspiration for the town of West Egg in F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic tale.
The lavish-living, party-loving Jay Gatsby himself would have felt right at home on the estate, which has a whopping 18 bedrooms and 32 bathrooms spread across the main mansion, built in 1928, and two other mansions used as guest houses.
The estate, which is also said to have inspired the set for Baz Lurhman's 2013 movie adaptation, has everything you need to recreate one of Gatsby's roaring '20s parties.
Apart from offering panoramic views of New York City, the estate has an outdoor pool with a slide and swim-up bar, an indoor pool, a sauna and spa, a tennis court, koi ponds, stunning gardens and a long private pier that can dock a 60-metre-long yacht.
Then there's the multiple wine cellars, a garage fit for 10 luxurious cars, a casino, bowling alley and a fitness centre for when you need to do something healthy after all your hopefully extravagant partying.
The estate, which was previously owned by Russian billionaire Tamir Sapir, last traded in November 2013 for $US15,850,989.
After making restorations and upgrades to the home, present owner Helene Abiri reportedly put it back on the market less than two years later with the whopping price tag of $US100 million ($130.75 million).
The property, which has since had $US15 million chopped off its asking price, is now available for $US85 million ($110.8 million).
Hopefully, whoever has deep enough pockets to buy it, will still have money left over to throw some epic parties that would make Gatsby proud.
