A man has been charged after allegedly sparking a police pursuit while driving a stolen truck loaded with hundreds of tins of baby formula in Sydney's west this week.

Officers from the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command tried to stop the white Hino table-top truck at Condell Park on Tuesday morning.
The driver allegedly failed to stop and police began a pursuit that was ended a short time later due to safety concerns.
Following the pursuit, police found the truck in a nearby industrial complex and arrested the 39-year-old driver.
Police alleged the truck had been stolen from Milperra and the 50 boxes of baby formula were stolen during a break-and-enter at Regents Park.
The baby formula was the OzCare brand, which retails for about $20 a tin.
The man has been charged with failing to stop during a police pursuit and driving while disqualified.
Inquiries are continuing into the alleged thefts of the truck and the baby formula.
The man was refused bail at Bankstown Local Court and is due to appear at the same court on November 8.
